We warmly welcome you to our website. We are an academic group dedicated to initiating efforts within universities for the preservation, promotion, and development of the intangible heritage of the Magar indigenous peoples—their languages, culture, and indigenous assets.
We have undertaken initiatives to introduce Magar language and culture, philosophy, aesthetics, indigenous knowledge, and skills into school education for children, ensuring their preservation, promotion, and development. In multilingual and multicultural Nepal, we have also taken steps to promote multilingual education.
In addition, we are working to encourage study and research on the Magar indigenous community. We are moving forward with the aim of establishing “Magar Indigenous Language and Culture Studies” as a subject at the postgraduate and higher levels within universities, and of developing a dedicated research center for the Magar indigenous people at the university level.
